looks like in this bumper shock is stock in place get a rubber hammer and tap at the bumper shock to make yu bumpers come out to give a more flush look

It's the stock look

Looks like your bumper shock is pushed back and stuck...this can be fixed by removing the bumper and bumping the shock forward with a rubber mallet...this of cousre is the hard way in my opinion. Reason I state this I did the same thing on my car while working on the motor. What happened in my case, is that one bumper shock was stuck and upon bumping it will not allow me to push it back down enough to install the bumper making me have to take the bumper shock off.

EASY WAY

Get a rubber mallet and bump the mounting area where the shock attached to the bumper and it will push out and remove the over hang your getting.

If you look where I put the circle via paint,

What all would i need to rebuild a Olds 307 ? really thinking about rebuilding my motor until i can build the 350 i want...so can someone tell me what all i will need..i found a local mechanic that i have worked with before and he told me he will rebuild it for $150 and i just need to buy the parts

jay give us a few specs on your current 307 now. is it on its last leg of life or is it strong. if you dont have any major things going on now then it shouldn't be to much on the parts side for you. does it still have good compression? any major things your concerned now as far as the engine goes?

Car is running pretty goo. Havent really did much to the car due to my hours at my new job.but i have cleaned the engine bay out and im cleaning my wiring up inside the car (speakers, lights, radio, gauges) nothing major but the little things do count. now can someone tell me a good way to get a lil more torque out of my 307 and what would be a good set of highway & racing gears ?
