Does anyone know where I can get a set of High Energy engine mounts for a 1968 Olds 442? The engine is a 455 olds and the mounts are all but gone. I've read about the new high energy ones but I cant find them anywhere for Oldsmobiles. The closest thing I think is a BBC Chevelle from around the same year. Any help is appreciated! Oh yea Napa and Autozone dont have them . . . go figure.

I also just checked Summit and Jegs and all they carry is OEM mounts for the Oldsmobiles. No love :wtf:

I dont think I would trust Autozone anyways. It didnt surprise me that our napa didnt carry them either. The acronym NAPA stands for Never Any Parts Available, around here 😀 Thanks for the link though il check it out!

Does anyone know if the mounts for a Pontiac or Buick from the same year work? All im finding besides Chevy is Pontiac and Buick but no Olds!

There are no polyurethane engine mounts for an Olds. Your options are rubber mounts, rubber mounts with a torque limiting strap, solid mounts or an engine plate.

Dammit :x ! Thanks for clearing that up though.

I know nothing about the olds motor, but Shotgun advised me about making a polyurethane mount for the driver side on my 400 Pontiac in my wagon out of a SBC mount. Worked out really well, easy to do. If the Olds is similar maybe you could do this?
