Its for my dads car so its up to him im just trying to help out. The engine itself has close to 600 lbs-ft of torque and OEM mounts just dont work long.
 
A simple torque strap will keep it under control. I use a short length of chain bolted to the driver side head and the upper control arm shaft. Leave it loose enough so vibrations don't travel to the frame, but tight enough so it stops the motor after about 1/2" of travel. Your motor mounts will last like they normally would. This is an OLD hot rodding trick.
