Maybe Im asking prematurely because I dont have the trans yet and dont know if theres more than one neutral safety switch, but Im going to build a 4l60 for my swap. Im planning to go with a ratchet shifter and eliminate the column all together since the right from the trans I can hook up the neutral safety and reverse lights etc etc.
Does anybody know the what each pin is for on the switch. I dont need all the gear stuff just which wires I need to use for the neutral safety and reverse lights plus where would I hook them up to make that work?

Thanks that's kind of what I was looking for. I want to eliminate the column all together. So I need to figure out how to use the NSS on the trans to activate the starter when in park and neutral only and how to get the reverse lights to work. The reverse lights aren't as important but would be nice if I can.

There are 2 styles used and the pin outs are different for each. I went with the newer version that was correct for my T42 transmission controller but either could be made to work. I also am not using the column interlock due to header interference. There is plenty of on line info with pin outs if you google it.

Thanks I have been browsing through out the morning and I have found alot of diagrams but Im not exactly sure which wires I would tap into to control the starter and reverse lights

I have a case that Im going to have built but it doesnt have the NSS on it. So I will have to buy it, with that said I guess I can buy whatever I know will work.
