You really don't need much help unless you're in Cali and have to pass emissions. If you were doing a buick olds pontiac you'd need to order a whole bunch of extra stuff to make it fit, but you will be surprised as you lower everything into place how easily it bolts in like a glove since your car is chevrolet... All you really need to do is check your driveshaft yoke and plan ahead if it's still the wimpy v6 yoke which obviously isn't going to work. Because it's a 6.0l and not a traditional carb'd 350 it puts out enough power that you will have to do it the right way and get the driveshaft engineering exactly right so you don't have to go back and redo it or send power to the rear end at an angle on launch and fk up your rear end. So all you really have to order is a yoke and a wire harness! Take pics as you progress so people can give you tips, and start a 'build thread' in that section. best wishes to you

pencero, thanks for the reply…new to the site….would like to start a "build thread"….would very much like to share what "works" with the build and where parts where located from and even part #'s…how do I start the build thread ???

Hello & welcome from Toronto.
Looks like an interesting build. If you look through the site you will find lots of build threads & knowledgeable folks here. Keep us updated with pix.

There is some good info over on ls1tech.com regarding this type of swap. If you go into the "conversions and hybrids" section, there are several G body LS swap threads, and there's a thread that deals with the new line of Hooker/Holley LS swap parts to install an LS engine into the G body line of cars. Good luck with your swap. Please keep us updated.
