I'm pretty sure (Steve) Pontiacgp is using one in his GP. I'm sure he'll chime in about it.

Dave, I notice it's your first post. Why not introduce yourself and tell the gang what you have, or what you're working on.

Welcome to the forum!

Not sure if its the same box but I put a Lee 670 box in my Monte a few years ago and I'm very pleased with it.

I have a Borgeson Delphi 600 box and it works great. It has a servo instead of a recirculating ball so it's basically a rack and pinion in a box. It's less expensive than the box in your link.

Steve it sounds like your Borgeson 600 box and my Lee 670 box might be identical.
Mine was advertised as having rack & pinion valving,this is from Mark @ SC&C;
"the 670 box it is worth it. You save about 6.5lbs. which is nice and it`s a bit smaller which is nice too but the big difference is the valving. When they say they have "rack and pinion valving" it`s not marketing double talk for tuning them to feel more like a rack and pinion it means that the actual hard parts of the valving are made in the same manner,using a one piece spool valve and stub shaft that gets rid of the play in the older 800 series 2 piece/floating system. The sizing of the valve gear is also different. This is a big part of what makes racks feel more responsive and precise than older boxes and the 670 box has it too"

Thanks guys. It's probably the same one as in the link. The vendor in the link does'nt stock them. They are supposedly shipped direct from the manufacturer so I have to assume it's marked up for his profit. {thats business I suppose} Where did you guys buy yours cheaper? Again, thanks for the response.

I got mine from spare late model chassis we had, I replaced the box with a Z box and we sold the chassis so I got the box for the hours of building and crewing our race cars. It's a Chrysler box but that just means a different spline for the knuckle. I have the Astro steering shaft so that side is a 1" DD
