So I've had a 69 chevelle clutch pedal assembly like 15 years. Is it worth modifying to fit my cutlass? Would be using a hydraulic clutch

Nope

Don't try to re-invent the wheel.

I just googled pics of the factory g body mtx parts and the clutch pedal itself looks similar. So mebbe I can adapt the pedal itself

Look, I gathered up all sorts of parts to try to use a hydraulic clutch behind a 454 in my Malibu. Two different pedals. Three different master cylinders. Three different slave cylinders set ups. Two different hydraulic throw-out bearings. What I learned, was that none it works like it should for what I paid. Or, I ended up with stock style mechanical linkage. I have a Centerforce high cone diaphragm clutch. Old school Super T-10 Borg Warner. I had to move a header tube.

Okay, scratch all that, it works with a T56 per the rest of the world. I could not make mine work with old school transmissions & clutch.

Yeah I had heard else where that third and fourth gen f body pedals work with mild mods

Originally back in the day I had planned on a Muncie 4 speed. Even had an m22 for it. Actually pedal assembly came with it. Ended up selling the Muncie for some $ and an l76 327

if you are thinking of using the F body pedal housing and the F body pedals they do not work. The pedals will sit too high and too close to the driver. The firewalls of the G body is at 18° while the F body firewall is basically straight and further away from the driver. I wasted hours trying to fit the F body assembly into my GP due some forum having the instructions with that "minor" alteration claiming that it works.
