7 1/2" 10 bolt 28 spline series 3 carrier...Bolt In?

I,ll try to be brief...

I'm looking to purchase a NEW 7 1/2"-10 bolt -28 spline- series 3 carrier differential for my 1980 Caballero.

Will it bolt into my axle housing?

Any help from any here who has experience with this application would be greatly appreciated! 😀

I believe it will bolt in, just make sure you have 28 spline axles, if i recall right 7.5" in g bodies came with 26 spline axles.

Yes, My truck has 26 spline axles with a 2.42 posi.

I just scored (2) 28 spline, 1987 Grand National axles in anticipation of finding a proper differential for transplant.

I just wanted some reassurance of what I considered the correct carrier fit for this truck.

Yes, the whole carrier will bolt in to the housing.
