It's not about being inline. The tv cable uses a different arc than a standard kickdown does. I do not know the measurements off hand. You could try pulling it out in very small increments, if it gets better reletively quickly good, but i wouldn't move it too much.

I understand it a lot better now! Thank you, is it possible that my cable is to long or short. When I think about it I don't understand how it can be to long or short cuz as long as its clipped in it will transfer the motion. Do I have to remove the pan to make sure it's opening all the way?

Hey guys, thank you for ur help I finally got it. I went through the steps real good again and saw u have to force the throttle and when I did it rachetted out! Shifts much smoother but still firm and good at part throttle too
