700R4 tail shaft swap?

I've happened onto a rebuilt 700R4 with an electric speedometer tail can I swap it with a mechanical speedo tail I have in my shed? I'll have to dig to get to my core 700R4 so not even sure if the tails unbolt like a 350 turbo does???? I just heard about the rebuilt trans and have not seen it

Tailshafts unbolt and are interchangeable, it depends on length, if there same.
