So as of now I am thinking that my donor car would be a better body to repair and I could use my driver body until it is done. That way I can still enjoy my car while working on the body. The donor car will need some quarter work and some work in the arches but has 0 body filler in it. More pics to come as I progress but here is how they both sit as of now....about 5 weeks into the project.

Looks like you've got everything you need to make nice little street rod. I've got three '79 models, but my first was an '80 model. The front end on the '80 looks good, IMO.

What you're doing is what this hobby is all about. Good luck with the build.
