78-80 Monte question

Hey guys I need to order the three brackets that bolt on to the core support on my 79 Monte , I only see them for sale for the 81-88 . Are they that much different or can I use them?

I am not sure what brackets you are taking about. Remember your car is An A body G body. G body did not come out till 81. If that makes sense.

Core support to fender braces? Could you be more specific?

I think the OP is talking about the braces the bolt to the back of the header panel. If it is only 78 and 79 will work, 80 is larger.

A to G change was '82. My '81 GM books list A for everything for our cars.
