Finding those "Dimples" can be a PITA as the factory often popped them in place then painted over them, which tended to heavily obscure them and make it miserable to locate them.

Does any one have a decent photo of where the Under Hood F41 braces attach to the body cowl (firewall)? Don't see an obvious location although it seems they would need to attach from the bottom of the sill because of the lip. Lots of holes in the core support to choose from. Suppose I could...
Does anybody have any pictures of the firewall to core braces? Went to my local honey yard today and found a bunch off of some older Elcos and malibus. Just wondering if they would work and what kind of mods would be needed? How long are the goody ones? Any help would be appericated.
Got a set this am and could not wait to install them. I can be such a kid. :lol: Anyway, there is a slight dimple where you drill in the cowl area (silver dot). It turned out I needed the hole to be a inch closer to center. Not sure why? Maybe since these were from a early (78/80)...
I am sorry if this has been discussed before but I can't find answer I bought a set of the braces from radiator to firewall one is curved and my firewall does not have the holes and also unless I am missing something they also hit my emission hoses under the hood these re going on an 86 cutlass...
