I would get it in my possession before someone else grabs it.

I’m friends with the owner of the yard. We made a deal, We just want to be sure the title stuff goes through ok before I pay for it. I have been considering going through Vermont to get it, but I talked to my states DMV and they have a process to get a lost title that really isn’t very painful to do.

He should be able to get the info from the decal on his radiator shroud. The emission decal looks to still be there.

Assuming it hasn’t been changed, if a V8 swap I’d assume that’s the case
