this car is not for setting the world on fire its just for show and cruising.actully the drive train is pretty smooth and has great acceleration and a blast to drive. its all original except for hood scoop and spoiler and red lower stip, i still have org. hood and deck lid. i have several othr car for setting the world on fire , check out the photobucket link below

My Google skills say it's probably a Borg Warner T-50. I pulled the ratios off another forum, and here they are:

Ratios:
First 3.4 : 1
Second 2.076 : 1
Third 1.39 : 1
Fourth 1.0
Fifth 0.80 : 1

It is in NO WAY the same as a T-5. It is much weaker, and was originally designed for the Cosworth Vega, but found it's way into other GM products of the time too. I read that it only weighs 65 lbs, and really can't even take 200hp.
