Ok the project is moving right along my brother found me a set of early 350 manifolds I'm picking them up at the E-town swap meet Saturday the 29 and I power washed the heads tonight after work. That's when my I can't leave that alone kicked in. Out with the porting bits and the grinder what the hey free power right

What motor is that in the picture?

OK, good because if someone told you it was a W31, you got taken. Take a pic of the balancer and it will have flat top pistons.

Damn the manifolds on my 3.8 were bigger than that! What was olds thinking?

I assume low rpm torque. For some reason Olds had a unique tiny, under 2", I think 1.75" stainless cross over pipe unique to the mighty 260. My 260 had early 350 manifolds, still crappy but awesome compared to this, along with the block off cap and duals. These would be the pre runner to the stainless swirl port manifolds that matched the 7A heads.

This 350 dose have flat tops and an aluminum intake manifold #6 heads it was in one of my brothers parts cars he decoded it he buys and sells Oldsmobile parts A-body 1965-1972 it was in a 69 Cutlass the guy we bought the car from said he took it out of a 68 Cutlass but the flex plate had junk yard markings that said 71 olds 350 however the stamped numbers and date code make it a 70. funny you should mention the balancer I need one and don't know what one I can use on it I have one on the 260 and one on a 78 350 and one on an 87 307 will one of them work? Idk
