need some help my water pump took a sh*t .have replacement already My question is? does anyone have a belt drive diagram for a 260 v8 gas
Its a base cutlass supreme with AC PS

so what's the secret for adjusting the Power steering pump belt on a 260 I don't see any adjustment on my 79 260 v8
PS pump is attached to alternator bracket..what am I missing here.
Ok here is the answer the power steering pump has a 9/16th bolt that you can bearly see inbetween the bracket and pully,I guess thats why the three holes are in the pully itself , one 9/16th on backside only accesible from under car. looking up from underneath on the left. hope this helps someone. Gawd I miss my sbc
