So I wet sanded down my new nose and put her on.

When I got it from the yard, the lower bumper was all tweeked and the filler pieces were kinda trashed so I figured I'd work around the gaps in the fillers and the bumper contours. I think ill run some LED light bars in the gaps to solve the look and the turn signal issues.

I finally swapped in my old th350, still waiting to rebuild my 700r4. I miss that forth gear tho for sure. It feels good to be riding the cutlass again, even if I can't haul on the freeway and get 25mpg. I also put on the cragar rims on the front so I got the wheels matched. Rolling 14x6 in the front, 14x8 rear. They rub a little bit if the tank is full or you hit a large dip but I'm over it. I haven't been driving her a lot and I'm just pleased with her looking good and running again. I have also been working on a 87 iroc-z that's been gutted down to the metal and wire harness. Got the carpet seats and new dash in as well as new clutch and dropped the motor and trans in too.

So its been a while since I've been turning wrenches on the olds, but spring is right around the corner and the days are getting longer. Getting a list of goodies and a pile of parts accumulating.

I need to rebuild the front suspension with new bushings and ball joints and all that. Looking at a tighter steering box out of a GTA/IROC

also need to rebuild my 700R4

I want to look at getting some aftermarket gauges as well.

Anyway, I picked up some replica recaro seats to replace my Honda civic seats. I may look at reupholstering them in the future with a retro look. Sounds weird but I want to give it the leather pillow top look my stock rear seats have but with the glove like feel of the racing seat.

Got my seats pretty well placed, I might remake some mounts later. But they look good in there and they match the suede I used to cover my dash inserts in.

Picked up some 88 celebrity head lights today at the yard for 60 bucks. Got the whole light assembly, bulbs and wires to swap over my 80 nose headlights. Should be pretty good looking all said and done. I was also thinking that with this setup I could do HIDs but I'm not sure if I'd like the look. That might be taking a drastic step outside the sleeper zone but we shall see.
