Well, I finaly got to try my trim tape and I have one vertical side done on the drivers side. I used 1 1/2 in. Scotch metal repair tape over the whole trim piece. I used a tooth pick and a popcicle stick to get the tape in all of the edges. Then I took some Cal-Strip 1/16 in. black tape and put them on the two raised/valley parts of the trim piece. I cut the tape longer than needed and trimed with an X-knife. It was easier than trying to cut to size. Then I used some Cal-Strip 1/2 in. silver tape for the middle part. Be sure to clean the trim and remove any nicks because they will show on the tape. It looks good!! The horizontal parts will be tuffer! I will post pictures next week after I go to the wife's 40th high school reunion tonite and recover Sunday.

Sounds good. Is the tape adhesive on the back or did you use a spray adhesive?

Steve,
The tape had adhesive on it. A good set of mature eyes would help alot (good glasses). I'll post the tape order #'s ASAP with the pictures. Just got home.
