79 GP SJ Door Panels

Well, I finally got the new trim on all my door panels. I could not
get the chrome to look right, so I just did the center brush aluminum
center strip and the 2 black strips on each panel. The center strip
was not too bad, but the black strips were really PITAs. I had to use
3x glasses and a 5x flipup headgear to see good enough. Ole age is
hell!! It looks 100% better. I'll post some pictures after I get back
from the POCI convention next week in Tulsa, OK. Hope to see some of
ya there!!

No, I have not posted any pictures since returning from Tulsa. Been on the road 2 weeks in August, 4 weeks in September/Octocber and another week in TX this month. Will take some pictures and post ASAP. Finally got settlement from overspray in Tulsa. It was in the mail when we returned. That was nice, so I can get the car fixed.

79 GP Door Panels

It does look alot better than without any trim. I tried finding some original trim tape everywhere and could not. I web ordered the trim strips from JD Distributors on the East coast somewhere. It's not original but pretty close. You would have to be a sharpie on Gbody GP's to know the different. It won 1st place in our class in Tulsa in July. That was a surprize and very nice.
