went by yesterday, and it's still there. i think i'm going to buy it when i get my first bonus. it needs to be rescued, as it's been hit a few times while sitting in the lot. i'm sure i can negotiate with the guy to take it home for cheap.

so i'm going to look at this car tomorrow morning to hear it run and perhaps take it for a test drive. if all goes well, and i can get it for a good price, this is going to become my new DD. i'll put about 30k on it this year if i do. i can't wait.

Good luck! It's a neat-looking car, and certainly not something you see every day.

Yes save this rare piece of american iron...Put in a 301 turbo motor and go with it...Great find!!!!

Keep it a pontaic now that they are gone...this is worth more

This car is just like this METEORITE i found yesterday here in east tennessee....very rare..

i found this while moving a tractor at a friends house...it has leaves melted into it like fossils and is the size of a football..

I know its worth something..just have to wait and find out..

I hope it isn't like the one Joe Dirt found.

i didn't wind up buying the car. the guy was pretty solid on his $1500 price. he'd let it go for far less without the drivetrain, but i wasn't about to let that happen. to the best of my knowledge, it's still sitting there, but he didn't have the key, so i can't tell you how well it runs, if at all. there was a little rust on the firewall, and the framerails are in really tough shape. the car would be great for someone to buy, i just don't have the time, money or room for another project.
