Looking for anyone out there who has one of them. I picked mine up the first week of December, at most there are 232 of us out there I understand. It needs work, going to get PHS documentation on it. Two-tone blue with blue interior, 301 4bbl - were these 308 posi from factory usually? I haven't done anything yet as it is in full winter mode here. I plan on a resto to original condition. I have a 80 GP T-top car with a 400/TH400 and 3.73 in to burn gas in.

I had a friend when I was in high school in Indiana that had one. His was 3.08 posi stock as well.

I've got one, purchased it back in March 07. Was always curious as to how many might be left. The original 301 v8 was swapped out for a 400 v8 before I got it. It's in the shop now getting new floorpans in it.
MustangDon here on the site has a factory 4-speed GP as well... don't think he's on much though. His site's listed in his profile (link w/ his name there)... Real nice car, saw it at the local POCI show last May... Definitely few and far between anymore.
That's a nice 79, but I sure don't understand how you can have a letter from PMD postmarked Oct 79 stating what the production was for the 79 model run!
