does anyone know where to order the rubber that goes inside the door to stop the window from chattering and moving back and forth. Also does anyone know where to order the window sweeps. Mine r totally gone so water runs right into the door 🙁

There are no ready-made run channels for the 4 doors/wagons.

Belt weatherstrips can be had a few places.

This guy has the belt strips, and sells universal channel that should work in the doors.

There is a thread over on maliburacing.com about this topic, and at least one owner has used the parts from this source.

ok thanks. I was serching this forum and found a place called dannoenterprises 😀 they have everything. I would post the link but i dont know how. 🙁 Its all made by metro and they sell it cheaper than them also

The link for Danno Enterprises is indicated above in Ribbedroof's post. I think Danno Enterprises would possibly do a group buy in case any of you guys would consider new seals, window channels, etc.
We might be able to save some money. His prices do seem pretty reasonable as they are.

What do you guys think?

I'm still trying to figure out exactly which window channels are for our wagons. I know # AS 1720 is definitely the one for the front forward door channel. Would # AS 1264 or AS 1395 be the ones for the rear trailing channel?
Also the channels for the rear door vent frames are smaller still, as far as I could tell. All my run channel pieces are dried out and cracked. It's almost hard to tell the proper profiles.

Same here if my serves me. I never ordered the stuff Jack, I am not going to jamb my doors till the spring, while I get the front end and what not made.

If anyone actually orders the stuff, let us know!

Jim.
I know you're going to need this stuff soon, but you have so much on your plate as it is. I can't believe all the work you've accomplished in a short time. I feel like this guy> 😳

Again, if anyone is interested in weather stripping, window channel, etc..let us know. Perhaps we could work something out with the Danno people.

If anyone has dealt with them before, give us a little feedback.

Same here with Danno. I'll be getting laid off in 30 days, if I can get the rear sold and a few other things from the Chevy, I'll be purchasing these 3 different style window channels. See if i can duplicate the factory stuff. Shouldn't be too hard, one would just have to glue the different pieces together, so It would take a weekend to fully assemble the doors, since you would have to wait for the glue to dry. If you don't glue them together, all three sides, your bound to get wind noise at speed.

Jim,
I've also thought about what the best method of piecing and /or bonding the channels together. Would you have to cut a miter in the corners, and then bond them? I guess the bottom line is to keep the wind noise down and also to minimize shrinkage and water entering.
The trick is to try and duplicate the OEM channels as close as possible...if that's possible.

Looking at the OEM stuff, it looks like they are mitered. I would try and put my fine tooth trim blade on my compound miter saw, and try that first. There are many layers and bends in the channel, I would think it would be a PITA to cut with a knife or something.

Yeah, I think cutting it with a knife would be awkward, to say the least. Sounds like the compound miter saw with a fine blade might be the answer..or some type of jigsaw/ bandsaw. which I don't own either of. I suppose if we had a test piece to play with, we'd be able to experiment and come up with a viable solution.
The OEM stuff looks like it's sort of heat bonded at the corners. But with some of the superior products that they produce today, I'd say we can get pretty close.
