I am looking for buckets for my El Camino that will accommodate a standard trans. Want black, leatherish would be nice. Ideas???

theOlds1 used procar seats, though I don't think they are exactly the same as what you are saying. Take a look.....

The Procar seats I like are their Elite series I feel they have a slightly more modern design.
I've got a 79 Monte with an LS1 and t56. I picked up some 2001 formula Firebird seats from a pawn shop type place and recovered them before bolting them in using stock gbody bucket seat tracks. The side bolsters are nice but it seems like a lower seat than stock. The console is a 2013 Impala Console and it goes almost perfectly in between the seats. Had to get a little creative mounting the console to the trans hump but it works for now, and I've even got cup holders. Although the way this thing gets up and goes, I'm not sure any cups would actually stay put
