Hello again guys.
I have the 267 engine with the dual jet 210 carb. Been running good until recently. I've had this car for about 5 months now, uncle have it to me.

Anyway, I'm experiencing a slight hesitation or bogging down like running out of gas under light acceleration. If you smash on the gas, no problem at all. My uncle-in-law had carburetor rebuilt right before he gave it to me. He had a shop that he's been going to for 20-plus years do it and says the mechanic knows his stuff. I did run out of gas a few weeks ago. Maybe sucked some thing up from the old gas tank? I got a new filter and plan on installing tomorrow and checking lines for blockage. What else should I check?

I did remove the carb last weekend to clean the gross oily intake. I labeled every hose and line and I'm pretty sure I got it all back together right. I also degreased and washed engine the day before. I covered the distributer, carb and altanator. After washing engine I kinda have a gurgling rumble sound. Ant idea on that? Thanks

for the carb go talk to the guy who rebuilt it, let him know that you removed the carb and put back the hoses the way they came off.

sounds like possible accelerator pump not giving a shot of fuel on access, this is usually most notable from a stop. or, most likely a power valve issue. the power valve holds the metering rods and moves according to slight changes in vacuum. i have seen this valve not slide properly.
pontiacgp is right, talk to the tech who worked on it and see what he thinks.

I had a similar issue hesitated really bad going uphill or light acceleration. It was my fuel filter. You said that you guys replaced the tank ? What about the pump n sock ????

Thanks guys I'll try and get ahold of him.

The fuel tank is still the original one. I was saying maybe something got sucked up from the tank when I ran it out of gas. The fuel pump was replaced when the carb was rebuilt.
