8.5 Rear end open unit

So I pulled my 8.5 from my 442 that I was going to re-finish and send to gbodyparts.com for wheels. Pull the cover....open rear end!! :? So i have a good case, good axles, etc. Need a carrier and would like to make a posi unit from it. So I am looking for advice as to making it a posi, sell the damn thing, make it a nice posi and keep it as a spare for my 81....because it has a 3:42.. or hell I dont know. Got a 8.5 case, and hate to see it not be put to good use. No use right now as an open unit.

I bought one of these for my 84' Hurst. Mine bolted right in and after checking backlash etc. it did not require additional shims or set up work to make it right.
