Ok here's my deal. I have a lead on what I'm told is an 8.5" out of a GN. It has the flat tabs on the pumpkin. The ring gear has these numbers, as close as I can tell. 1 GM 1235128 12 41 4 87. Axle tube has 3TP G11. So all of this leads me to belieave it is an 8.5", although I don't know what the 1235128 on the ring gear means. The other thing is that I measured the cover bolts and they were closer to 3.25" instead of the 3.75" which I have read is the distance for the 8.5". Note, they are not original bolts, they were changed to allen heads. So, can you guys tell if this is an 8.5" for sure? Thanks in advance!

8.5" ring gear, 3.42 ratio, shows to be a limited slip, 1987 model year G body
