So now with all this extra in the car, is there anything I should address?
I will be putting in new motor mounts but what about the frame mounts?
What about the front suspension? Since it's a W30, has the "sport suspension package" from 1980.
Looking at the UMI front suspension kits, worth the upgrade?
Thanks

Beefier control arms and sway bars are well worth the price,,as is the Blazer or Corvette brake swap.
My hat is off for making Olds power!!

Okay, thanks for the input. I will look into this.
Imo if it's and olds, keep it an olds. Same goes for pontiac, buick, chevy. Like I said, my opinion
Cost more to build an olds but have a motor that not too many have.

Wow, that is pretty in-depth. I don't envy you porting iron castings - but it is admirable.

You will definitely want a set of street friendly boxed rear lower and upper control arms to help manage the torque. Good shocks and springs are also key. And sticky tires.

You won't need all the high dollar cool-guy parts - just money spent well in a few key locations.

Welcome!

So this is what the build is making for power.

Now I am building a 2004R brf code transmission and swapping out the rear with 8.5 posi with 3.42 and drive shaft with 1350 yokes. Also will be installing lightning rods, so that may be a bit interesting. Also try to properly set the transmission so it doesn't burn out. Running a 750 brawler, so be some different connections there.

Welcome, you have some nice parts there. Sounds like you may have parted out a GN.

Very cool. Can't say I have seen a W30 with lightning rods yet. Looks like you have a great car to start with. Sounds like you are already aware of the throttle valve cable on a 2004R. Make sure it is set correctly before you take it for a drive or you will glaze the clutches!!!

Now the goods of the 350 olds

Keep in mind that on a newer G body the Performer RPM intake usually requires hood clearance unless you have a drop base air cleaner. The Performer intake fits no problem. What hood are you planning to use?

Welcome, I saw this build on Classic Olds and tried to help out. Glad you found a 8.5" rear and GN 2004R. You should be able to use a 1" drop base air cleaner and just clear the hood, it will be tight.
