Now the new.
Since I have side posts, had to create a solution. Bought the posts you can screw into the side posts. Drilled it out and used a grade 8 bolt. Removed the old bolt from the battery cable to bolt in this one. From there, used 8 inches of 4 guage wire that went to 150 amp fuse. From there, 4 guage to the post on the alternator. Ran 10 guage from the same post to the cluster of 4 wires. Ran a 10 guage from the protected side of the 150 amp fuse to the cluster plus the 3rd wire to who knows where. Used 1/2 inch copper pipe, cut a 1 inch piece in half. Cut the old cluster out and used that copper pipe to make crimp for the 4 wires. Then soldered them together. Found a pigtail for the CS alternator, only had the excite wire so added a 10 guage for the field wire. Drilled a hole in the seal, stripped the 10 guage and soldered it to act as a blade. Plugged it in and ran directly to the starter post. Now just have the field wire and ignition wire at the starter. The single wire that was from the starter post to the fuse block, took that and routed it to the hot side of my 150 amp fuse using a 20 amp fuse for that wire. Hope my description makes sense.

Have a wack load of parts coming in from Rock Auto today.
Shipping was unbelievably fast, placed the order Sunday night:notworthy: Blow the doors off Summit.
Had placed my order with Sphon Suspension on Monday, didn't receive tracking number for shipment. Contacted them yesterday, 4 weeks for delivery😳😳
So canceled that order and just placed an order with Hotckhis Suspension, out the door today

Just some cosmetics tonight. Not starting anything major till my arms come in. One thing I noticed with my coil springs, is not rings that came with.
That eaton video, they had rings. Something I need?

Not sure what ‘rings’ you’re inquiring about. Any photos?

Those rings are cushion pad for the top of the spring. They are usually rubber but years back I got a set from Energy Suspension for both front & back. Fronts don't have a direct listing & I had to measure the rubber ones to find the right set.

Okay. I will order some from Napa tomorrow, front and back.
Thanks

Not really necessary, but there is no good reason not to get them if you can find them.
