80 to 81 grille swap

Is a 1981 grille a direct swap for a 1980 Malibu header panel? I like the 81 grille better, but didn't know if the 80 and 81 header panels were the same. I thought they were, like 78 and 79 were.

The 80 and 81 header panels are the same on Malibu's The 78 and 79 use the a different header panel.
