Welcome aboard! Always good to see another wagon pusher on the board. It looks like a nice wagon with a lot of potential. it should clean up nicely.
Let us know how it's going. Btw, I agree with Mark, a Buick 350 with a 200-4R would be a nice combo for that car.

I just washed the ol girl up today... now I need to redo all the brakes on the front end... anyone have any good suggestions? I also plan to lower it a couple inches! Any help would be appreciated.

Looks great, is that the original color? Can’t say I’ve seen that shade on a wagon before. Looks like it must of been a woody too.

It’s not the original color, they didn’t paint the door jams and from what I can tell it used to be silver or grey.

If you want to absolutely get down, I have a set of 3" drop springs for a wagon. Went a different direction (up). Never installed.

What I call a HOLLYWOOD PAINT JOB, watching movies or tv you see that all the time. Before you get into brakes and suspension consider what wheel/tire combo you want to use SIZE MATTERS,LOL . 17 inch wheels clear just about any of the brake system swaps without looking odd on our cars. Smaller wheels limits your choices. BTW, welcome to the forum. Nice starter project.

Vern, not to jack the thread, but I like your style! I have the exact same hubcaps you do, and got some Appliance spoke wheels and it changed the entire look of my wagon.. I think it's perfect now
