Pencero,

If you want I can give you the color info off of the paint bucket. All I remember from the top of my mind is Sky Blue Metallic but I think it has some color code stuff on there.
The thought of custom/full coverage humors me.
My liability only costs 72$ a month. (-_-)
I can only imagine anything more. This is through Hallmark Insurance.
My insurance agent shopped around and this was the best deal he could find besides the Progressive liability policy which is cheaper in the long run but my budget doesn't agree with the short term.

I suppose it's time to have my annual chat with my insurance broker but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
If any of you have any recommendations then please, by all means; let me know.

I turn 23 in Sept, I've been driving for almost 5 years. Never got a ticket, warning or anything. Clean driving record. I hear the insurance companies don't care until I turn 25.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need insurance from a small private 'collectors' / antiques type insurance company w/ the type of people who understand us and these cars; not from a corporate conglomerate bunch of 'progressive' socialist slobs who helped sponsor the 'cash for clunkers' program behind the scenes in an effort to force the lower class into buying newer foreign cars in the name of globalism... Companies like Progressive/Geico look at our cars like the terminator - they think they are pieces of trash and want to raise prices on us to force us into giving up on these projects and buy newer foreign cars :puke: .

You need to check out some smaller companies and check out this company called Hemmings but idk if they will insure this particular car w/o a lot of reciepts to prove the quality of your build. You could also do what I did and just get a Triple AAA membership on top of your liability policy. Thats what I had to do when I found out that if I had a roadside issue the insurance company was not going to even lend a helping hand unless I purchased their most expensive policy, which I determined I couldn't afford. I love all our cars on here but these are nearly 'antiques' not too far in the near future. Get AAA if you can afford it because even with newer parts breaking down is not a matter of if but when. It will occasionally happen. It's nice to know you can get a discount on a decent hotel room if you are stranded and you can get the car towed away to the shop of your choice for free in a bad situation. The insurance company will not help you do any of these things idc what they say when it's game time and you have them on the phone they will try to talk you out of the car and end the conversation with 'have a nice day'. Don't use AAA more than 3 times in 1 year or they will call you eventually and cancel your card though.

Times are tight, as well as cash and the amount of work required to get it. I DO have most of my receipts. I'd have to get them all together and sort them out. I did some reading on those websites. As long as the insurer knows this is my daily driver AND work horse. I'm gonna put towing hitch on it and keep using it for what I did before I got it painted and didn't care about body damage and paint imperfections. I do intend to take it across the U.S. sometime within the next few years. So I don't know if it is counter productive price wise to switch but I'm gonna find out more info.
Thanks for the links.

Hmm, yeah, if you're using it as a daily-driver, or putting serious miles on it per year, then you can't get classic insurance. My understanding is that they REQUIRE that you have another car insured with "normal" insurance for daily use.

Switched to Foremost. Same exact coverage, 35$ cheaper a month. Life is better. **** Hallmark Insurance.
Still Liability Only. -_-
