I have a 10 vane pump kit, wide band, alto frictions. Hardened stator support, billet forward drum, heat treated sun gear shell 3 clutch overdrive piston. I got the rebuild kit from ck, using his separator plate and billet servo. Picked up a 2800 stall l/u convertor also.

Started the front pump today, it's the 082 housing, and in good shape. Fortunately the 10 vane pump rotor and slide are the same thickness as the 7 vane they are replacing. I have to open up the drain back hole now.

Also, the boost valve is stuck in the other half of the housing, I'll get it out, just take some finessing.

I have been stalking this thread for some time.

I hope my stock 50k mile 305 spec 2004r holds up to my turbo 4.1 :O

You never know. I pulled this apart and all the soft parts look great, the band got jacked up.

I cant get the boost valve out, looks like I'll be drilling a hole in the center of it and using a slide hammer to get it out.

Boost valve is out, drill and slide hammer did the trick. Now to press out the stator support.

I'm doing this in work, so it is taking a long time. I have do do a task at a time. I'm using it as training for my airmen.

Front pump is done and bagged up. Now I have the wagon in the shop, have to fix a tire, and throw it in the Lift to fix the rear drain plug leak.
