Heck.... I'm impressed to see 5 G-body's @ a local meet (that's not g-body specific). That slammed black MCSS looks slick.
It actually has the ls nose as was pointed out. It’s on air ride.
There should have been 6 but my car was in the garage with the rear out. There’s always a few g body’s around at the local cruises. Last Friday some kid was gushing over my Malibu like I would a 66 Chevelle. I never really thought about my car like that. I pretty much got it because it was all I could afford and it grew on me.

I get that analogy. I see the g-body era as the modern version of those cars. Not just a name-plate carried on like GM's new 'Blazer'. So to someone younger, these cars are the 66 Chevelle of their day even though they didn't have factory w/hi-perf motor options like they did in the 60's-early70's. Of course, the GN is the exception as it packed a punch & did it while achieving respectable mpg's & drivability.

I figured you didn't take a pic of yours because..... Its yours. For some reason I rarely take pics of mine even when out @ shows. Usually someone I know does & sends me the image/s.

My kids get a real kick out of taking mine to the show, even though it’s a work in progress. They like to get their picture taken in front of all the cars, even mine.

A little side tracked. I set up my kids power wheels with M18 Milwaukee batteries. My son especially loves his Jeep. He’s been asking me to paint it orange, but didn’t want to give it up. He wound up burning out one of the motors so I said I’d do it while we waited for the new one. Of course I’ve had issues with the rustoleum lifting. I wound up hitting it with some leak stop to give it a texture like lynex, then topcoating it. He’s happy with the look. He can’t wait to rip it up. With the 18 volt battery it flies, but I’m amazed at how well he can handle it. I used have a speed control to keep it down, but he figured it out quick.

His Jeep is done. I added hood pins since the hood was always popping open and flying off. Now he wants to keep it in my garage so the paint doesn’t get messed up. If I knew how to post videos, I’d show him doing donuts with it last night.
Now I can back to organizing the garage to get back working on my car.

One of the photographers from the local cruise night took a nice shot of my car tonight. Looks to be all one shade of white.

I put the center caps on tonight and I think I hate the look. I wanted these wheels and caps for as long as I can remember, and I’m not feeling them anymore.

I get it.

I ran the 15x7"F/15x8"R Ralley-wheel 'Cop-car/Poverty' cap combo on most of my previous Malibu's/ElCaminos. They look good & don't break the bank.
I also decided to run something different on the current one as well.
