Finished a bit more this weekend. Started out by shortening the obscenely long factory bumpers a few inches, tucked them in tight..
- installed trans last week.RMVB 700r4, upgraded internals and added a 2200 stall converter..( thanks geard customs! )
- went thru and tightened all suspension
- finished up 95% of the brake lines, installed master, booster and pedal assembly. just handbrake to go.
- starter/distributor/fans with shroud/trans cooler/stage 8 header hardware.
- fuel cell, prelim filter and pump mounted.. Going to get fittings to plumb it all tomorrow.
-installed heater setup, started to layout painless kit..
-locks mirrors and other misc as well.

More to come this week.

Now some wiring fun.

The bumper looks great, man. Looks like you cut out a little more than I did. My welding ability isn't quite as good as yours, but I got it done never the less.
Looks like you don't have to do anything to them...just bolt 'em on and go. Nice! The cars look so much better with the narrowed/ tucked bumpers..and no fillers.

I like how your car is turning out. Keep up the good work, man.

they looks allright but i had buffed to the nickel surrounding the welds.. i just finished sandblasting them at a place locally.. should make for a nice surface for the powdercoat to adhere to..

now im really on the fence about keeping the window and drip rail trim brushed.... or do i powder coat it to... hmmm.. hmmm

can't decide yet

I'm thinking maybe you should do the drip rails and window trim satin black. Unless you're looking for some contrast. Like maybe if you're doing the bumpers in a brushed nickel finish, then maybe do the trim in a brushed look as well.
I personally think the drip rail and window mouldings would all look good satin black.
The bumpers can go either way.
I did all my trim with SEM satin black trim paint. I'm undecided about the bumpers, though.
Maybe I'll get some of your feedback as well.

Hmm hard to say, either painted to match your trim then accent wheels.. Or maybe same color as car?? Couple choices there
