Hey everybody, I’m new to the forum I have a 81 Malibu 4 door. I just recently picked up some 70’s 14” rally rims off a Camaro I believe the guy told me. Anyway my question is do 14’s fit 81 Malibu? Online it says Factory rims are 14’s but my front rims are rubbing against calipers. (It’s so tight my car won’t even move) probably a stupid question but trying to get solid answers before I move forward with any new ideas

Are talking about the rims on the front in the picture? Those look like front wheel drive rims so they might not have the clearance. Is it rubbing the top of the caliper or the face(the side you see thru the rim)

Not all 14s (& 15s) are created equal. Some fit discs; some don't.
Agreed. My buddy put some kind of Olds rallys on an 80 El Camino and had to use a small spacer- 1/4" maybe? I'm under the impression that even though a lot of GM 14"-15" rallys (Chevy, Pontiac, Olds) look the same, there were different offsets/ backspacing for different applications. Sometimes 1/4" makes a difference, if you know what I mean.

I had my 15" oldsmobile rallies from my 77 cutlass on my 84 elco before I sold it no issues unless you were cranking the steering all the way to one side(rubbing inner side of tire on the frame) gave the elco a nicer ride

Maybe if Oldsmobile ever made "rallies"....... For future reference, they are called Super Stock (I, II, or III). Rally is Ch*vy crap, and Rally IIs are Pontiac.
