Sound like a problem with the fuel tank or some thing in it. For the safety switch is a bigger purple one under the hood by the fire wall. I just cut it and ran the two wires from the safety switch and spliced one to each of the cut ends. I hope this helps with your question.

More than you know yes ty. Didn't know about the purple thing by firewall; will check it out b4 trying to change anything thx

Would kind of like to know how it went with the switch.

What cam and what gear did you end up with?

I have a similar set up, vortec block, 3.75 crank, 6 inch rods, and claimer flat tops with some -113 Corvette/crate motor aluminum heads. My previous bracket car had a vortec 350 with a Hot cam and 4.10s it ran 12.60s all day long....11.70s on a little pepper spray. This is some stuff I picked up at a circle track parts auction. Seems like I had to buy a funky timing chain to make eveything happy last time, wondered if they have came out with anything new?

Not sure what you mean by a funky timing chain. The roller cam uses a smaller nose on the cam to clear the cam plate. With any roller cam you must stop the cam from walking on the lifters. So what does the stroker motor run now. What kind of a bracket car did you have the vortec 350 in? I always like to hear what other people do to the plain vortec motors and how they run.

Ironically in a situation where roll-over start would have prevented a stall so I could keep a bad battery running the car a few more blocks I didn't have it b/c I never got to the switch before my guy w/ the steering wheel tool put it back on. I dont have the steering wheel tool, but next time it's off I'll see if I can get it to work and let you know how it went. I thought I would have the steering wheel off longer but someone stole my Grant steering wheel so we just put the stocker back on

yes but the Grant steering wheel is probably going to cost more than $25 next time so it might be a while til I'm taking the st wheel off again lol. Man what a hook-up gone wrong. If I catch whoever took my steering wheel each year of my prison sentence will have been served over $5-$7 but I'm going to get my mf money's worth on that one.
