nice wagon. what are yer plans for it?

Nice and clean except for that door. The Rally2's look good on her.

Thanks everyone, Im taking a lot of flack for buying a wagon, some people just dont understand.
The point is theyre kool and you just dont see them anymore, so why not try to save one.
My plans for the car are to make a nice sunday driver, it does need some TLC but its not rusted out,
so far ive found weather strip for the doors hopefully gonna order that in the next few wks, still need to address the rear window weather strip.
talking to a few body people about paint and bodywork, interior is in fairly good shape except for a few plastic pieces.
all the trim work is there in good shape, rear window trim looks ruff but the aluminum trim underneath is good.
a buddy put me in touch with a guy who has a private junk yard thats has 4 or 5 g body wagons so i talked to him and
gonna try to meet up with him in the next wk or two.
that leaves the engine, the 231 seems ok so far although it hasnt run for like two yrs, so im driving/running it everyday, if it holds on then ill leave the engine swap until next yr. but plans are subject to change without warning.

I've been cruising around in my Dad's ole' 78' Malibu wagon for about 2 weeks now. It's been setting in the garage since March 2008 when my Dad passed away.
It was a well known car in our area since 1985 because of all the trips it made to the racetrack.

My wife loves to drive it and my 14 yr. old son thinks it's the coolest thing since sliced bread  We actually cruised in it a few weekends ago.

Get's a lot of attention when driving thru town.Especially when I rip off second gear 8)
