Re: 82 Monte Build Thread - Almost Finished!

I have to say it's turning out way better than my expectations considering it was done on a buget. Got alot of good deals along the way which saved me some cash. I should add up all the bills when its totally finished. As for the rear ride hight, it is more because they are only 225/60s on the rear in that picture. I just got the BFG radial T/As put on, they really change the look of the car with 275/60s on the rear. They seem to fill out the rear wheel wells nice and the car no longer looks jacked up in the rear (pics coming soon!). I already have the next project in planning, remember that green 81 monte I picked up for $100? Got a ford 9" housing, axles, 4.11 center section, and a set of mickey thompson slicks for FREE on the weekend so im thinking drag car seems like a good project 😀 .

I also though i would post the pics of the next project i have in mind. I am thinking of using my 81 monte carlo i bought for $100 with 52,000 kms on it for a buget drag build. Pulled the interior to see how bad the floors were and it was not as bad as i thought. Its going to need a new drivers/passenger side front floor pan. Supprisingly around the rear wheel wheels and trunk floor is hole free by what I can see. Not to bad considering this car spent many years outside under a tree, outer body really only has some minor surface rust.
