If it's as bright as it looks to me, light redwood poly/met 72/WA7379.
Agree. In 1982, it's of the "red" group. It might go with brown interior. Not sure. They actually did two-tone this color with the dark redwood, which was more of a dark metallic red color. They paired it normally with a redwood interior, which wasn't really brown either, but more toward the dark maple/ dark burgundy side of things.

If there's not a definite G-body color you like that you think would go with the brown interior, don't be afraid to venture outside the genre. I used to own a Sienna 71 442 and I loved the color. Malibus and Skylarks had it too. Many Sienna cars (GM code 67) came with brown interiors, but back then, you could get just about any color interior you wanted. Was more of a root beer brown out of the sunlight but the metallics in it really stood out in the sunlight. This isn't my old car, but the color was the same.

i wonder if i could use a brown pin stripe to pull the interior with the outside like they did with the frost beige (code59) then maybe i can venture outside the genre like 68hurstolds said.

found a interesting link with colors all related with brown. ill be 100% honest here i don't see it with some of them colors lol

Just sit down with a PPG variance deck set & then find shades for just one color code.

Frost beige with a brown vinyl top might work well with the interior.
Might also work with the stripes and no vinyl top. What would you use for rims though ?
What color is the car now ?

My opinion ? If you dont like the light briar I would stick with that color. I honestly think that looks pretty nice. Especially without the landau top. Do the stripes on the side and put a nice set of wheels on it. Maybe consider a cowl hood ?? You can save yourself a lot of stress not wondering if you picked the right color. If it looks that good now it will look even better with a fresh coat of paint.

I agree with mikester, the factory color combo works but I would also change the chrome side mirrors to sport mirrors.
For me if this is a car I planned on keeping and my dream was to have a two tone black and silver Cutlass then I would be changing the interior out to make this a reality.
