The oil pan can be removed w/ the engine in the car. If you go that far I would pressurize the coolant system and see if you can determine where the coolant is coming from. Lot depends on how long it's been loosing coolant and how much you overheated it.
 
I didn't say a bearing had spun, I said the bearings may be damaged

Water and/or antifreeze in the engine oil create milky, grey edging and possible black corrosion on the lining. Pitting and Flaking are progressive damage
