Sounds like a halfway good idea. Why someone would go to all that trouble though? The stickers, excluding the H/O decals, probably cost a few hundred in themselves, unless the people selling it own decal printing equipment. Chevy truck rallye wheels, freshly sprayed with water to hide faded paint, etc. The engine is probably a 307 for all anyone knows. Nice try though.
It would be worth more (still not what they are asking though) to me if it were original with the wire hub caps etc. Still see quite a few around here though despite most of the G-bodies apparently dying off in the last few years.
