Here's the little bit of progress I've made so far. I finished up my brake/fuel/vapor lines last week. I just need to find and buy some new clamps to hold them in place. I put on my new KYB GR-2 rear shocks. I installed the tie-rods on the driver's side(still need to buy them for the other side) I noticed when I installed the lower controls arms I put the heads of the LCA bolts towards the rear and not the front. It looks like nothing will interfere. Does anyone think it'll be a prob? I also started on rebuilding my Q-jet a month ago but I need a book to guide me through the reassembly and tuning. Also I broke off six of the screws that the butterfly valves to the throttle rods. I'm not sure how I'm gonna get them out without F'in up the throttle and choke shafts. Then I am gonna get a fuel pump without a return. Then I can finally fire it up again and make sure the motor is gonna run. I also found a parts car for $400 an hour from me thats pretty decent. I just need to save up a little. money's still a little tight. The body of my Cutlass is gonna need a lot of metal work. And I mean a LOT! It's a long post I know, but here's some pics.

More pics of the new shocks, and rust damage. Sometimes I wonder if its worth fixing beacause the trunk is way worse.

So many places to patch. the wheel wells, the entire trunk floor along with the bottom of the tail panel, front of the lower rear quarters, alittle on the rockers, drivers side A pillar, all around the trunk floor and fix some of the body mounting locations, cage nuts, and some other spots I'm sure I probably just get a whole new floorpan. Am I crazy for trying to tackle all that? Is it too far gone? I have help from an experience bodyman who works at a resto shop. Any opinions would be great. I know these cars aren't worth a ton, but I like it
