84 cutty with 307. swapp to 350 help

i got an 1984 cutty with a 307 with the engine knockin and a want to put a 350 engine thats in a 1983 buick electa 4 door. what needs to be done to swap them what do i need. would the transmission in my cutty work with that 350. how hard would it be.

A 350 what? Olds? Buick? Pontiac? Chevy? They are all different. Note that the only 350 that was factory available in an 83 Electra would have been the 350 Olds diesel, so whatever it is, it isn't original to that car. Or, it's not a 350 but another 307, which would have been available in 83.

That is true. The 83 Delta 88 I had was originally a 350 diesel, but was swapped to a 307 before I got it.
