BUILD THREAD 84 El Camino build thread

Merry Christmas! Messing around with some different wheels and stances. Got the mids/highs hooked up, wired for audio, kick panels half done. In the process of acquiring a 400 sbc with a fresh .030 over bore job from machine shop. Lots of things in the works but my daily driver 02 z71 just lost the transmission at 340k so I found an 4.3 stepside s10 that is getting necessary attention and extra(not extra) funds to take over daily driver duty.

Threw the rallyes on as it needed tires all around. Working on fixing a/c, replaced tailgate, seats, handles, etc. Doing a full tune up, rewiring interior speakers and installing head unit. 3rd door lower latch striker was missing, pulled from junkyard along with lower front valance, and center console pieces and mirrors off a sonoma. I need to do tie rods, pitman idler, sway bar links, shocks. She runs and shifts smooth and feels confident. I'll throw some more progress pics up

Managed to squeeze these things on with a little manipulation, no spacers, adapters, or modification other than some tasteful unseen trimming and some knuckles in the springs.

The pinion seal has a tiny leak so after checking the diff level and noticing how black the gear oil was I decided to replace. Not the prettiest in there but not the worst.

Can anybody ID this locker?

With the wheels and you rubbing the paint she's a completely different car than last year.
