Now I get it. Odd, that plate was not on the car, someone must have stripped it. I’m assuming I’ll want the 4 speed version for my 4l60e correct? Thanks again for the pics, that helped a ton.

I’m really scratching my head though, I bought that GN complete and took apart the console myself and that plate definitely wasn’t there. I wouldn’t have taken it off the shifter. Is there some reason someone would take that off?? Just odd.

To convert a 3 speed to a 4 speed all you need is the detent plate on cutlass and regal shifters.
