I might take you up on that depending on next round of troubleshooting.
Is it a rochester dualjet 210?

it;s a dualjet came off a 82 el camino with a 229 6 cyl try to get yours running first did you put a dwell meter on her ? you could also put o volt meter on the 02 senser wire to see what the 02 senser sees high volts = rich the mixture control solenoid should get lean commands also i would check the map senser volts first google how to do that

The dwell meter comes in tomorrow. Shop manual should arrive tomorrow or Thursday too.
The other day I noticed this little o-ring laying on the carb when I took the air cleaner off:

looks like some one pried the caps off the high and low stops of the mixture control solenoid people did that not knowing they are set at the factory where they need to be could have been a simple vacuum leak there are good articles on the web telling you how to bench set them that will get it running next you adjust them with i the imput from the dwell and volts from the 02 senser but first vacuum leaks are first thing to fix do your self a favor just replace all the vacuum lines they need to fight tight on both ends even the one on the trans solenoid plug off the evap system so it gets no vacuum you can hook it up later same goes for the egr use thread sealer on the bolt you use to plug the line vacuum test each component one at a time they should not loose vacuum like the brake booster 'map senser vacuum advance on the dist and the 'heat riser ect just replace the map senser and pcv the ccc worked well biggest problem was vacuum leaks you can advance the dist 5 deg over specks to much the computer won;t like

update:

i've replaced:
EVAP canister (the old one had a strong fuel smell and was stinking up the garage)
PCV value (old one rattled but felt gunky on the inside)
crankcase filter (super dirty)
air cleaner (strong fuel smell)

and already it is idling better. (see video)

before these replacements (after high idle) it would idle rough and the engine was visibly bouncing around some.

there is a crankcase vent tube that isn't make a good seal that i'll replace but i didn't find any obvious vacuum leaks.

the thing i am looking into at the moment is when i turn the key on (before engine is running) i don't get the coolant temp or the oil pressure right lights to come on. i expected them to turn on as a bulb check. (see image)

Those 2 circuits are grounded (The leads to the sending units.) to test the bulbs in the crank position on the ignition switch.
