85 ss almost finished

I thought you already had a Merlot setup in the rear?

I’m in for the pics too including the damage only for own selfish reasons (I’m adding support in my rear area presently.)
The merillat racing upper and lower boxes survived, the frame didnt. Its no wonder I had a hard time driving it. The lower boxes were flexing up about 1.5 inches, it actually pushed the floor boards up. The g body frame is not meant for this, Its weak, and the metal is junk. Im going to do all these upgrades and will probably do a tube chassis next year. If you send me a pm with your phone number Ill send you some pictures, Im too computer stupid to post them.

So it’s safe assume that you’re going to tie the boxes into the cage and eliminate the frame support?

First hit with the new front end, back half, motor, converter. Its got 11 inches of front end travel now, kinda weird to drive. Feels like the front end will never stop coming up. Ill try to get some better pics next time out.

Got to make another 2 hits. first hit I knocked the tires off around 60 foot out, pretty sure there was something on the track. 2nd hit I left the same tune up in. ramped the 1st kit in from 20 to 70 percent over 4 seconds and pulling 17 degrees of timing to see if it would make the trip and go straight. It went straight and smooth. I not used to it being so uneventful to drive lol. 5.15 with no power in it. Im happy.
