86 GP license plate pocket removal

I wanted to repaint the license plate shroud on my 86 GP but could not get it loose after removing all the screws and bolts. Does anyone have experience with removing this part? Thanks, Tim

Did you get it out? I just took a chrome surround (with the reverse lights ) off a car at Pullapart, and there were 4 hidden screws behind the tag plate, and also you have to remove the 2 screws holding the license tag light. Hope it helps.
