86 GP project

Been a while since I’ve updated this thread. I got the drivers side door almost fully repaired, details were in another thread. In that time my father-in-law passed from a long illness, I worked the Northeast Auto Body show, I spent a week in MN for training, then my uncle passed suddenly, I went to Philly for training, said goodbye to my uncle, then I sat back and grieved for a few days. Been a rough month, and my car suffered.
Yesterday was the first day I was able to go in the garage and actually do something, other than get overwhelmed and watch tv. I managed to clean off the car and get the roof stable again. Of course I have a few pinholes to fix. Then I can turn it around and finish the passenger A pillar. Then I need to pull the passenger door and fix the bottom. Then it’s time for filler. Can’t wait to sling some mud. 😂

Sorry to hear about your losses recently Chris. My deepest condolences and sympathies. It’s funny that you posted today, I was just thinking about you and your car last night and was wondering how you were coming along with it.

My condolences and best wishes for your family. Getting back on the project can be therapeutic. I have really enjoyed watching this build.
